Stéphane Moniotte graduated from the UCLouvain Faculty of Medicine in 1997 and obtained his Doctorate in Biomedical Sciences in 2001. He completed a three-year fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital (Harvard Medical School), specialising in cardiac MRI. He has been a paediatric cardiologist at Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc since 2007, where he developed the paediatric cardiac MRI programme, and has served as Head of the Department of Paediatrics since October 2019. He is the author of over 60 peer-reviewed publications, supervisor of multiple doctoral students, and is active in several scientific societies including the Belgian Academy of Paediatrics, of which he is Vice-President. Within QUALIREHAB, he leads the extension of the programme to childhood cancer survivors and other chronic conditions.
